I wanted to write to thank you for EVERYTHING! We all agree that this was one of the best vacations we have ever taken. The people at Aventuras Naturales are awesome and you all run an outstanding operation. Every hotel, location and detail was perfect!
It was also unanimous that our favourite part was the rafting trip with the stay at the Pacuare Lodge. I don't know how you guys built that there, but it is amazing! The bungalows, the lodge area, the hammock room, the staff - everything was great! The meals were awesome (hats off to Jorge, Miguel, Luis et al for their culinary expertise!) and we took full advantage of happy hour and the hammocks as well...
I won't go into everything, but please know that everything was great and we really appreciate your help, in planning this. I will definitely refer your company to any and all friends making the trip to your beautiful country!

The tour was fantastic. The river was absolutely breathtaking. Eddy and Kevin did a superb job guiding us through the rapids. We really appreciated Kevin taking us up a waterfall and showing us a natural waterslide. That will probably be the highlight of the trip. Although we didn't have as much contact with Jonathan he was extremely helpful and friendly and only heightened our enjoyment of this experience. Manuel, he was a wonderful guide - friendly, informative and hospitable. He is very knowledgeable about the river & surrounding environment. The overall tour was priceless. The river was amazing + we had a wonderful stay at the lodge. Manuel was an awesome cook + new English very well. His banana pancakes were great. Accommodations and lodge site are better than anticipated based on viewing web-site - very scenic and relaxing. Guides were very congenial, knowledgeable, accommodating and enjoyable to be with. Food was extraordinary, extremely fresh produce and some of the best we have experienced in Costa Rica.
We have rafted several rivers in the US, but this was by far the most exciting, scenic and enjoyable of any. We enjoyed being in such a remote section of paradise and having the sense of having the river to ourselves. Good emphasis on safety. Instructions were clear, expert knowledge of every difficult rapid. We will highly recommend the trip to our friends and anyone who ask for a reference. Thanks.

I just wanted you and everybody at Aventuras Naturales to know how much we enjoyed our trip to Costa Rica. The hotels you recommended were excellent, especially the Trapp Family Lodge and Le Bergerac. The rafting tours were awesome and the guides on the trips really added to our enjoyment of the tour. Chilli Willy was wonderful on the drive to Monteverde - he gave us lots of great information and kept us laughing almost the entire way!! Yency was an inspiration to us on the Treasures of Costa Rica tour because she is such an incredible person. We felt lucky to meet Miguel the next day for our drive to the Pacuare. Jonathan, Esdras, and Manuel were fabulous on the overnight trip. We were impressed with their skill on the river as well as Esdras' skill in the kitchen. Manuel was the guide in our raft and he had to depend on five women for paddle power! We loved the way he said, "Forward, please" when he wanted us to paddle! It was so polite. I am telling all my friends that Costa Rica is a great place to visit and that Aventuras Naturales is a great company to work with. Judy, Lauren and I are already trying to decide when we can go again.

Hello! I am writing this to let you know how much I truly enjoyed my overnight rafting trip on the Rio Pacuare July 15th and 16th.
We were four women from the U.S. and our river guide was Andreas along with Jesse in the other raft. We were known as "The Chick Boat"!!
We wanted to tell you how professional these two people were. Both Andreas and Jesse made the trip safe, comfortable and enjoyable. They both have a playful spirit and love for what they are doing. They had incredible patience and showed respect to the whole group. The meals they prepared were incredible and they worked well as a team.
Geraldo and Carmen (I'm hoping I have their names right) do a wonderful job of maintaining the grounds and lodging at the river camp. It was so inviting and clean. Please pass our thanks on to them.
All in all, we were all impressed with the entire adventure from picking us up at the hotel to the take out. Aventuras Naturales is a company that we would not hesitate to recommend to anyone who wants that kind of experience. Thank you all and special thanks to Andreas and Jesse for making it all happen for us.

Excellent .Excellent! We had a party of four. Our friend Chad dislocated his shoulder 30 minutes into the trip. All guides assisted in his core and were able to safely get Chad off the trip and to safety. Kurt was especially helpful in resetting Chad's shoulder prior to hiking out from the river. This tour was just great. I have to say, our guide Paolo (a/k/A Boo Boo) really made the difference. He was energetic, friendly, knowledgeable. If I could do it again I would not have asked for anything to be different from how it was. Guides were excellent. Pablo answered every question asked of him & was so incredibly knowledgeable about everything from flora & fauna to Costa Rica in general. I will highly recommend this trip to anybody travelling to Costa Rica. The food was absolutely delicious. I would not have expected it to be that good in a 5 star restaurant. The Jungle Lodge was unbelievable. The website did not do the place any justice. It was incredible all around. Thank you!!

This was absolutely wonderful, very fun & excited plus good exercise for the arms. Silvia was a very good guide, humorous and was able to let us know more about Costa Rica. This is such a beautiful place, I hope to return soon. Thank you for a wonderful time. I was a little scared at first but I felt safe once we started down the river. Thanks again.

The Pacuare Lodge is absolutely beautiful. The grounds were stunning, and you thought of everything to make our stay comfortable - from umbrellas to candles and flashlights in the room to backgammon at the lodge. Kurt's tour was fabulous + we learned about walking trees, hallucinogenic tea (angel trumpet) and more! The food was great as well. We felt very pampered when we expected to be "roughing it". Carlos also was such a great guide - we felt safe yet adventurous at the same time! Nice back trip off the cliff, by the way - very impressive! We loved the hikes to the waterfalls as well, thanks Luis! All in all - excellent - we'll recommend you to friends & hope to be back soon!

I was very impressed with the overall organization, professionalism + courteousness of the guides. Everyone was very polite and friendly. The lodging was even nicer than the photos!
