Costa Rica offers a wealth of scuba diving locations off both the Pacific and Caribbean coasts; all serviced by time-proven, reliable operators. The waters off Guanacaste, Cocos Island and the southern Caribbean coast are the most consistently clear in the country. Other excellent dive spots include the gulf and peninsula of Nicoya, the Osa Peninsula and Drake Bay area, Golfo Dulce, and Manuel Antonio. Cocos Island, designated a world heritage site by the United Nations, is considered to be among the top diving locations in the world.
