Hotel Chirripó is located in the gateway to Costa Rica's
southern zone, San Isidro of Perez Zeledón. The hotel is
on the south side of the city's tree-filled Central Park and Church.
San Isidro is the largest city in the southern region of the country,
and is the gateway to all its treasures. To the east is Chirripó
National Park, which protects the tallest mountain in Costa Rica
and expansive wilderness areas; to the west are the beaches of Dominical
and Uvita. Further south are various indigenous reservations, agricultural
fields and San Vito, a town with a unique Italian heritage. Further
southwest are the renowned Corcovado National Park and more beautiful
beaches. The city of San Isidro has banks, restaurants, shops and
tourist information. |
