only polution and noise free hotel and tourism area in central San
Jose. It is just a 7 minute walk from the "Plaza de la Cultura",
the Center of San Jose.
A new bed
& breakfast, Hotel La Amistad Inn, joins the list of B&B's
in the area around the new National Arts and Culture Center in
downtown San José. The center's opening spearheads changes
to the landscape around Morazán Park, with plans in the
works to put all telephone and power lines underground and to
shunt noisy buses to the Uruca road northwest of San José.
The neighborhood will offer people a more relaxed, less noisy
area.
