Central Pacific

The following list comprises anything from popular, low-budget accommodations in the town of Jacó, to mid-priced beachfront and upper range hotels surrounded by forest reserves or built high on a cliff overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean.

The Central Pacific begins at the fishing province of Puntarenas, continuing south towards the transitional rainforests of Carara National Park, near Jacó & Playa Hermosa Beaches, visited largely by surfers in search of proximity and a good range of activities. Further south lies Quepos and Manuel Antonio National Park's majestic beaches, where a downhill road is lined up with small hotels, restaurants and bars with magnificent views. This highly visited tourist area is characterized by more stylish, up market accommodations. The Central Pacific extends all the way down to the quieter and secluded beach towns of Dominical and Uvita.
