| The
Chimuri Nature Lodge is tucked between the Caribbean Sea and the
colorful tropical flowers of the surrounding lush coastal vegetation
on Puerto Viejo's magical black sand beach, about 1.5 kilometers
from the village center. The lodge offers a private and tranquil
atmosphere away from everything, but is only a 20-minute stroll
along the beach to the town restaurants, shops, bars, etc. All three
cottages have a private bathroom with hot shower and a porch with
hammocks. A nearby store offers basic provisions.
